My name is Tom O’Sullivan and there’s something about seeing the world through a lens that captivated me into the art of photography/videography production. The art has possessed me to treat a camera like an external attachment of my body so that’s what I’ve been doing to date. My soul mission is to freeze and capture moments in time, to relive the memories through my practiced mediums.

Primarily, I shoot on a 2nd gen Canon 600D DSLR with a 50mm - 1.8f lens. The depth of field the 50mm allows for, is the pinnacle of making the subject of the image the main focal point, while the background almost seems irrelevant. Treating the 50mm as a ‘skill’ rather than a tool has really opened my creative mind when it comes to looking at different types of angles and creative compositions. I tend to shoot landscape rather than portrait because personally, I think you can capture more detail and fill the shot with a wider composition.
